My 2¢ about this movie and DVD

Probably the best Pixar movie to date. The Incredibles DVD offers virtually non-stop action, realistic character movements, and a really good story to make this movie a must have in your DVD collection. As is usual with a Pixar DVD, excellent bonus material is included - behind-the-scenes, bloopers, deleted scenes, and even an animated short about Jack Jack. However, unlike previous Pixar films, this movie is rated PG. I was surprised by the amount of guns and shooting in the movie. If your weary of your kids seeing this kind of violence, screen it first or save it for the older kids.

5 out of 5 Great Movie! Needs A Sequel., May 11, 2008

I found this movie to be one of the rare enjoyable family films. In a time awash with superheroes, it answers the question - What would happen if some of the superheroes married? Now we know. This movie is pure delight - catering to children, teenagers, and adults. While kids love the jokes, there are tender moments that I've seen make adults cry such as when Mister Incredible tells his wife he doesn't want to lose her and his children a second time. I know Brad Bird is adamant about not making a sequel for fear of spoiling the quality of the original, but like Toy Story and others, this movie is just begging to be turned into a franchise.
5 out of 5 Incredible, April 2, 2008

They need to come out with a part 2 to this already. I really enjoyed this film. This was just one of those animated films that was fun to watch. My daughter liked this one also. Dash just trips her out and she likes to work out with Mr. Incredible when he is getting in shape.
5 out of 5 Incredible!, March 29, 2008

Great movie - loved the animation - pixar always tops themselves with their movies. I love the fact that they will actually make "bloopers" - just go the extra effort and work to get the laughs. All the kids love watching it as it's one that they pick on movie night over and over.
5 out of 5 Well worth the money, March 26, 2008

Very enjoyable film. This surprised me when it was on cable and I had to buy the DVD. How many scenes remind you of the James Bond films? It has lots of action and also very funny.
5 out of 5 incredible, February 12, 2008

This is my favorite pixar movie; I can watch it with my kids, and we never get bored.

The animation is top notch, and the voice acting is perfect. i dislike animations where you can recognize the famous actor who is voicing the character, but in the Incredibles, it never takes you out of the movie. The story itself....revolves around a retired super hero family (not to different from the Fantastic Four), and a villain bent on destroying all "Supers".

Brad Bird should be given an award for this movie, it rivals his other great work, The Iron Giant, in greatness. I hope I hope I hope they make a sequel.
